They have been developed by the Transport Industry Skills Centre (TISC) and the Canberra and Regional Oil Industry Emergency Response Group (CROIERG) with assistance from the National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA).
It teaches attendees how to write or improve upon your company’s TERP. A TERP is a requirement under the Dangerous Goods Code. Companies engaged in the handling of dangerous goods must have a properly documented TERP.

It trains personnel on how to assist emergency services incident controllers at the scene of a bulk tanker accident for all classes of dangerous goods. Companies are required under the dangerous goods code to have a TERP, and arrangements in place to allow them to respond to dangerous goods emergencies.
