Bulk Tanker Emergency Response Courses
Two courses — Transport Emergency Response Plan, and Emergency Responder Training — have been designed for employees of companies who handle bulk dangerous goods.
They have been developed by the Transport Industry Skills Centre (TISC) and the Canberra and Regional Oil Industry Emergency Response Group (CROIERG) with assistance from the National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA).
Transport Emergency Response Plan
It teaches attendees how to write or improve upon your company’s TERP. A TERP is a requirement under the Dangerous Goods Code. Companies engaged in the handling of dangerous goods must have a properly documented TERP.

Emergency Responder Training
It trains personnel on how to assist emergency services incident controllers at the scene of a bulk tanker accident for all classes of dangerous goods.
