  Bulk Tanker Day is the premier event dedicated to safety, innovation and operational excellence in the bulk tanker sector.

  Bulk Tanker Day is co-hosted by the NBTA and AFAC. This year's event will be opened by Fire Rescue Victoria, Chief Fire Commissioner, Gavin Freeman.

  The Christmas Dinner returns in 2026 for its 32nd year, continuing one of the bulk tanker industry’s longest-standing and most valued traditions.

  Each year, the dinner provides an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day pressures of the industry and come together to celebrate the people, partnerships and achievements that keep Australia moving safely and efficiently hosted at what is always a unique and memorable venue.

  As tradition continues, we have once again secured a unique venue within Melbourne’s CBD/northern precinct and look forward to revealing the location soon.

  Bulk Tanker Day is Australia’s premier event dedicated to safety, innovation and operational excellence in the bulk tanker industry.

  Co-hosted by the NBTA and AFAC, Bulk Tanker Day will return to Brisbane in 2027, held the day prior to the opening of the Brisbane Truck Show.

  Bringing together operators, regulators, emergency services, manufacturers, suppliers and industry leaders from across Australia and New Zealand, Bulk Tanker Day has become the sector’s leading forum for discussing the issues shaping the future of tanker safety, productivity and resilience.

  The 2027 event will once again feature a full day of industry insights, technical discussion, networking opportunities and collaboration focused on improving outcomes across the bulk liquid and dangerous goods road transport sector.
