    Please join us at the Hardimans Hotel in Kensington for dinner the night before our Bulk Tanker Day event. As always, the dinner is a good way to catch up with current members, exhibitors and delegates prior to Bulk Tanker Day.

    Bulk Tanker Day is the premier event dedicated to safety, innovation and operational excellence in the bulk tanker sector.

    Bulk Tanker Day is co-hosted by the NBTA and AFAC. This year's event will be opened by Fire Rescue Victoria, Chief Fire Commissioner, Gavin Freeman.

    With current fuel supply challenges front of mind, this year’s program is a must-attend. Our keynote and panel sessions will unpack recent events and what they mean for the industry moving forward.

    Hear from an outstanding line-up of speakers, including:

    With safety as the priority, the program will also focus on key developments across the tanker sector, including tanker age, new PBS requirements for DG, HVNL reforms, crash investigation learnings, new psychosocial requirements, and axle limits for wide single tyres, improving safety and productivity when it matters most.

    The Transport Emergency Response Plan (TERP) workshop will be held at Flemington Racecourse in the Atrium on Thursday 14 May 2026 the day after the Bulk Tanker Day conference.

    This is an industry training initiative co-hosted by AFAC,  ISS First Response and the NBTA to put your TERP to the test to ensure you are prepared to manage a tanker incident.

    Delivered jointly by experienced first responders Mark Hudson, ISS First Response and Zenon Splawinski, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. 

    The TERP workshop is a must attend event for DG operators who are involved in preparing and exercising their TERP.
